A Neurilemoma of the Tongue

Abstract
|
|
|
A woman aged thirty three had had hardly any complaints except for the sense of foreign body in the tongue for eleven months. Examination of the tongue revealed a thumb tip sized smooth mass arising in the middle one-third portion of it. The termor was dissected free with ease.
Histologically the mass was proved to be neurilemoma of Antoni type A. Her postoperative condition had been uneventful.
